I was wondering about people's favorite quotes form a song and such...I have so many favorites, but I'll just put one.
...last night you gave me a kiss
you didnt know it but I was awake when you did
you were quiet you were gonna let me sleep
so I just laid there pretending to be
you said some things you didnt know I could hear
and the words i love you never sounded so sincere
I have a lot of songs with lyrics that I really like, one of my favorites though is the chorus from a song called "Stars of Tears", it goes:
And I ask you, can we ease the pain, of those who lost?
(The force of life goes on)
And can we know the cause of all this sorrow?
(Tears of lonliness)
And can we catch the tears, of a broken world?
Falling down upon the earth, falling down.
Also the chorus from "Small two of pieces" is good:
Broken mirror, a million shades of light, the old echo fades away
But just you and I, can find the answer and then
We can run to the end of the world
We can run to the end of the world
Wow, I could go on forever. There are a lot of really good ones out there.
My favorite song is "I Could Not Ask For More" by Sara Evans. It's really hard to choose just one part of that song that I like more but these lines say the feelings best.
"I could not ask for more than this time together
I could not ask for more than this time with you
And every prayer has been answered
Every dream I've had's come true
Yeah, right here in this moment
Is right where I'm meant to be
Here with you here with me"
This song has been "our song" for my husband, Paul, and me. Another song we both really love is "I Need You" by LeAnn Rimes.
I also have many favorites, but here's one of my top favorites. It's from the Moulin Rouge movie:
Never knew I could feel like this,
Like I've never reached the sky before
Want to vanish inside your kiss
Every day I'm loving you more and more
Listen to my heart
Can you hear it sing?
Telling me to give you everything
Season's may change
Winter to spring
Chorus
But I love you until the end of time
Come what may, Come what may
I will love you until my dying day
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Suddenly the world moves with such a perfect grace
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
It all revolves around you
And there's no mountain too high, No river too wide
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side
Storm clouds may gather and stars may collide
But I love you until the end of time
Chorus

I do really have a love for music, and today, while I was driving in the car, the song 'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilara came on the radio. I am not particularly a fan of hers, but I like this song, and I really like the lyrics. Here's the lyrics to part of the song:
"You are beautiful no matter what they say
Words won't bring you down
You are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words won't bring you down
Don't you bring me down today...
No matter what we do
(no matter what we do)
No matter what they say
(no matter what they say)
When the sun is shining through
Then the clouds won't stay
And everywhere we go
(everywhere we go)
The sun won't always shine
(sun won't always shine)
But tomorrow will find a way
All the other times
We are beautiful no matter what they say
Yes, words won't bring us down
We are beautiful no matter what they say
Yes, words can't bring us down
Don't you bring me down today"

I have always like the song and the lyrics of "Good Riddance" by Greenday.
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why.
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
Being in Japan, I get plenty of opportunity to sing these lyrics as well. Fortunately enough for all of you, you don't have to hear me!
Vincenzo
I've been having these lyrics running through my mind for several days in a row now. This is from a song my brother-in-law wrote many years ago that is for some reason "looping" in my head.
"Mother of the Earth, Father of the Sky,
Take me in before I die
Take me in
Take me home again
Put me in the rain
Lay me in the sun
Before my journey here is done
Take me in
Take me home again
Cradle me in laughter
Wash me with your tears
I've been on this endless road
for so many years..."
I can't remember the rest. I tried to find it on the web, but I'm having trouble. If I do manage to find it, I'll post the rest.
Oh, and this is *copyright* material, A.J. Masters and Bob Garner, some time in the 1980s.

I am posting this message and I am listening the song One of my favourite songs of Whitney Houston " The Greatest Love of All"...
I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone to fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
So I learned to depend on me
Chorus:
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone’s shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can’t take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be
Chorus
And if by chance, that special place
That you’ve been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love
