Louisville police is firing officer Brett Hankison, one of three involved in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor. In one of the first major moves in the Breonna Taylor case, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer announced Friday that the police department is initiating termination of officer Brett Hankison. Taylor was shot by officers at her South Louisville apartment on March 13. Her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, fired a shot as officers entered to serve a no-knock warrant, thinking they were intruders.
