Bruconero Introduction - Page 16

JB, I have a question that doesn't relate to a specific area so I think posting it here is the best solution.
Just out of curiosity: what exactly represents the numerical rating next to the various threads and how it grows? I'm asking because, more or less ten days ago, my game thread jumped from a "2" to a "6". Is not related to the number of posts or views, I guess, because other threads around the community have twice as much of both but the rating is lower or even they have no rating.
Is that connected to how often the thread is updated? Knowing this would help me understand better how the community works.

Thank you, Support. I overlooked that section of the community rules. My fault. Sometimes asking a question becomes a shortcut: I'll try to to rely more on the search tools in the future.

Thank but, we where not talking about Medieval Weights & Measures. We where talking about the active system of measurement used in the USA, because of global differences of what is thought in country run school systems and finding a common ground on [which] to explain units.

Introduction Bruconero

KittenPunk, no need to 'talk' to the Bot called, "Factual". It just supplies related content which is relevant to a discussion. I believe Bruconero's game is in a medieval setting and you are discussing how things are measured. Technically you should actually start a thread for this in the science board called "Metric vs Imperial Measurements" or something like that. This way an introduction thread isn't a topic that others might like to contribute since its supposed to be focused only on personal things. If you want I can move all this to there and you can continue it.

That would be lovely thank you! At the time I thought it would be a quick answer to a question but it quickly became a conversation of differences in the world. Thanks.

All the posts about it was moved to Metric vs Imperial: Weights & Measurements.

I saw where Bruconero originally brought this up in his game and you were right to try and not continue the discussion there. What you can do next time is this... If someone brings up something in a thread that's personal to them then reply in their introduction as you have been doing, great job on that by the way. If its something that really should be its own topic then first search to see if a topic for it exists and if it doesn't then start a new one. Then along with your normal post you can always let people know in an off topic by posting a link to it (yes you can do in-house links) so they know where you'll like to continue the discussion. Thank you for your help keeping everything organized, I know it can seem complicated at first but it ensures threads remain on the same topic they are meant to be.

Update: I also moved the posts about your game to your review thread: Source 8. This keeps this thread on Bruconero and not other topics that belong elsewhere.

Sorry Bruconero, I sent a text to Lukego's cell for you. After all my friends been very busy getting ready to be deployed.
I last herd from him 6 days a go and he told me.

international QUOTE
"I was scheduled for deployment later in the year...they just moved up my date much sooner."

I hope he will be safe over seas in the war zones of the middle east. I know he is going to be inside a building working on computers under government contracting but its still a war zone.

Worrying for a good friend is never easy. I would bet he is getting a crash coarse in training for his job he has only has 3 months, so he will be ready to be sent. Likely spending any free time he may have right now with family and once he is deployed he won't see them for 6+months at a time.

Silver lining, when he is over there he will have tuns of free time outside work for game as a safe free activity to fill his hours with. I hope his kids handy no daddy around okay.

I miss my friend, he has only been out of state for 3 months, moving for that new job. Long distance is always straining on a friendship.
