Woooow! Today was my day off and, as announced, I bought myself a Christmas gift! A brand new laptop! I can still feel the smell of the plastic wrap... I was missing it so much after more than 8 months since my old one was stolen during a robbery in my house. I spent all the day installing the Os, getting the internet connection to work (not so easy, only satellite internet here) and here am I, enjoying my brand new toy hehehe.

I will not stop using my phone to participate here since is more practical but now I'll be able to dramatically improve the quality of my posts. No more limit on the number of digits, no more crashes while typing, the chance to use the Spell Check feature and, most of all, writing a reply will require 5 minutes instead of half an hour! I think I will spend all the night browsing and posting like a child that finally got the object of his dreams.... Starting from tomorrow, I will also use it for work, which is the main reason I invested on it. But not tonight, not tonight!

Congratulations, does that mean you will attempt to use the Plain or Executive Skins instead of the Mobile or you will still stick to it?

You do not have access to cable or dial-up connections? I hope you can safeguard it now.

I'm now using the Default Skin. Is nice to have access to all the options after all this time. I'm using a satellite smartcard: is the best solution here and I would say that is quite fast too.

Don't worry Bruconero my personality will find its way back into my writing shortly. Whenever developing a new voice profile on the dictation software, it's wise to slowly integrate mechanical writing to personal writing style so that the software has time to adjust learning your voice as your becoming accustomed to speaking out rather than writing your intended virtual text. And, if you really want all make sure to put a misspelled word in there somewhere.

Ciao come stai? Sono di Argentina. That's just me trying to impress with my poor Italian . As I said, I'm from Argentina and an Italian descendant (mother side). I don't know if you are familiar with Argentina but almost half of the population are Italian descendents so we adopted a lot of the culture from your country.

As a matter of fact, I was just telling a colleague of mine that I miss my grandma's cooking, she would make spaghetti, ravioli and gnocchi all from scratch. Absolutely delicious! I could eat pasta every single day of my life.

I just wanted to welcome you to the community and tell you a little about myself. Take Care.

I saw your contribution in many threads while browsing the forums so I think I had already the chance to get a little sample of your personality: is nice to have you on my introduction thread. Yes, I know that Argentina is a sort of Italian "Colony", even the language, if I'm not wrong, resents a little from this kind of influence. Maybe you will surprised to know that where I live now, in Indonesia, there's a thriving community of expats from Argentina. One of them, is the guy in charge to refill my supply of Fernet Branca each time he comes and goes from Buenos Aires .
