Bweston Introduction

I volunteer IT services (System Administrator) at a civic organization. I am blessed to have the position at such a noble organization, Groveway Community Group Inc. Of Roswell, Georgia.

Groveway Community Group Inc. Of Roswell, Georgia was founded in 1943.

The city of Roswell, Georgia is of old white money. Yet a small number of blacks have lived there all the way back to before the civil war era.

This city of old rustic white money had 3 small pockets of blacks communities during the 1950'tys and 60'tys. The President of Groveway Community Group Inc, Gail Bohannan was one of the first 8 students bused to an all white school in 1968 when segregation ended and integration began.

She explained to me last week that one of the old small black communities inside of Roswell, Ga from days gone by was the Groveway street community.

Now, White money has bought up all of the old black homes, land and communities and replaced them with businesses and new streets. Yet a few black families from the old days still live in Roswell, Ga.

Groveway Community Group Inc has a small office inside a community center with two very old computers and no network.

They have a long way to go and I hope to take them there.
