Good info in the article. I just bought one of these (what I call "thingies") last week for my daughter. It's not the easiest thing to use, and it doesn't play WMA files (even though the specs said it would). When I called tech support, they suggested downloading a converter to convert the WMA to MP3. That didn't work either. So now we have to actually buy music. I was hoping we could just rip songs from our own CD collection, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

So I will add that as my .02 cents worth to this: be careful what you pay for and expect from your MP3! Maybe it just takes getting used to.
