Alcohol Machine

They are now testing the all new Alcohol Machine in bars of N.Y.C. The Alcohol Machine mixes alcohol with pressurized oxygen. It takes about 20 min. to breathe in one shot , giving drinkers the effect of alcohol without the drunkeness or hangover. Do you think this is a disaster waiting to happen ?

My experience with going out and drinking is that it is a socializing event, most of the times at least. If someone is going to sit for 20 min to breathe in some alcohol/oxygen mixture just to feel like they consume alcohol; then they need help. Sounds like all this will do will is help alcoholics possibly but it sounds useless otherwise. Darius, do you have a link to a story where we can read more about this?
