We are trying to index all the Universities and major educational facilities in China so at the moment it is bogging down the Hot Topic list. To prevent other Threads from being drowned out I have temporarily removed the Education Board from the Hot Topics option.

Forum Arcade & Forum Points Are Back!

Some of you will remember Forum Points (FP) as an in-house payment system used as a means to gain features. We had gotten rid of it about 2 years ago as a means to allow everyone to use everything for free but also because it was burdening the system. Since that time we have updated the code and opened back the Forum Arcade so there must be some means of control for it - thus FP is back. To start off everyone currently in the forum has 20 FP to begin. This can be used in the Forum Arcade for now, we have not established any other uses, yet.

Boards Give FP Information

Now that Forum Points or FP are needed by those wanting to get their name in the Arcade I have put within each Board's Key (at the bottom) the amount of FP it pays out for New Topics and for Replies. Do note, Posting duplicate Topics or messages that are not constructive means you will get a penalty against your FP including the usual warnings by the Bots / Moderators.

Secret How To's Skin Change

The default Skin of the Secret How To's Board has been changed to none which means that it will just show the default Skin or inherit your personal choice. The Adult Board will continue to use the Mature Skin.

Quick Reply Double Press Check

When you click the "Add Reply" button in the Quick Reply Box it will turn into "Please Wait..." and disable you from clicking on it a second time.

Arcade Discuss

In each Game there is a "Discuss this game" link which went to an incorrect address, this has been corrected to point to the Computer Board which also covers the Arcade games.

Gallery Thumbnails

In the Forum gallery you can now see a thumbnail of the Uploaded Photo for that Thread so you can better choose which one you might like to look at.

Forum Threads

I have implemented code to give a more stylized look to certain Threads. This means more images to better facilitate the look but I have also lessened the number of Threads shown per page so there isn't a lot of scrolling.

Everyone Gets 200 FP!

Felipe helped me find a fault in the code where we reintroduced FP. The error caused Members to lose FP instead of gain it on certain Boards. To make up for this everyone gets an added 200 FP!

We have been making so many tweaks (Arcade, latest posts shown on the fly, latest gallery, etc.) of recent to help Members find other parts of the Community with which they may be unfamiliar. See if you can recognize them as you visit, post your thoughts and interact in the Topics of Discussion.
