I would of like to see more stories about how people's lives changed, like the vagrant that the boy initially took in. After he saves the woman from committing suicide we do not see him again. The movie ended very sad, and although the number that came to see his mother at her home shows that many were touched, yet it did not show if the boy's vision continued.
I enjoy the ending as it is, but if I had to change it I agree with JB where it would be nice to see a few more examples of how the world was changed by deeds done. I thought it was rather strange for the crowds of people to spontaneously turn up at the boys house, just at the right time. I'd probably scrap that scene, as it really was a bit cheesy In my humble opinion. ;-)
What would I replace it with? If I knew that my script would be in the post...
