Just a reminder - I may be unavailable for parts of August. I'd love to join the game now but if my (Potential) absence will cause problems, I'll just wait. My gold roll gave me 140 so I've updated my character sheet - no tent.
And one other question - I notice that my character is included in the list of active players - does that mean I can and should post? In the Role-playing Game thread of player discussion thread? Should I wait for a "You spot a half-orc" Post by you or should I write my own intro when I want?
I'm totally new to Play By Post and would don't want to step on toes as I learn to find my way around.
Ok here is the skinny on your half orc. I am not worried about skin color you can decide that I leave that option for the player. However you are 6' 9" Tall and you weight just 170 lbs. Adjust your character as needed with the height and weight adjustment.
As far as posting in the players thread you can red it for now and I watch the main game thread I will get you in the game soon. You character is approved for play in the advanced Dungeons & Dragons game.
Kntoran, do you think you can let me know what bonuses I have in this version of Dungeons & Dragons so I can include them in my rolls? Also when on the horse and not on the horse?
Then this is different from the other versions of Dungeons & Dragons. What about charging with a horse that makes no difference as if I charged on foot?
Thanks I updated my character with that note. So does it mean that if I were to charge a large creature that I would not get a bonus but the large creature would not get a bonus either?
Depends on the how large the creature is but if they are the same size they will not get a bonus. This is one of the big reasons they came out with a version 2, 3, 3.5 and so on. They were trying to make it easier for the characters to survive.
