They get close enough to attack Zork misses his first attack but two of them hit you. For 5 points of damage. The second round only one hits you for two points of damage as you miss again. Third round you hit one for 4 points of damage. They miss you. At the end of the third round you hear a scream across the room as the lady in dark robes suddenly glows and then explodes in a shower of sparks. Everyone needs to roll a save vs spell.

The Chainbreaker says...Out of Character: I'm not sure if he is supposed to, but I will roll a save vs spell for Durgan lying on the ground. His save is 15.

The Swift Sword says... In Character: When Zork hears the scream he looks up to se the woman glow and by this point he knows he's in bigger trouble than he thought.
Out of Character: Don't know what number I need to get but here you go.

The three guards save and they turn back to continue attacking you. Zork saves so he still is able to attack and defend himself. The leader gasps and then topples backwards onto his chair. The distraction caused everyone to hesitate from battle so fresh battle rolls need to be done.
Lady Mithalindre rushes to Durgans side and helps him swallow a potion. Durgan gains 24 hit points. The three guards do not see this happening as they are distracted by trying to kill Zork.

The Chainbreaker says..."Thank you, milady," Durgan says as he pushes himself up. He picks up his mace of the ground and shouts at the guards, "You will regret that!" as he charges.

The Swift Sword says... Zork fights with all he has in order to give time for Durgan to regain his strength and get back in the melee.
Out of Character: Not sure what kind of damage the sword does so I did a d8.

The three guards wade in swinging at Zork two of them hit Zork for 5 total damage, Zork misses in his attack and Durgan gets a good hit on one from behind causing 7 damage. The next round Zork is hit twice again for a total of two points damage. Zork misses again Durgan hits the same one again for 7 more damage. About this time the lady is able to cause one to get hit by magic missile. Next round Zork is missed and he hits one for 8 points of damage. Durgan hits the one he is fighting as the guy turns to face him for 7 more damage. This helps Zork as only two are facing him now. Lady Mithalindre hits one on Zork. Fourth round you both hit Zork hits for 6 damage and Durgan hits of 3 damage the lady Mithalindre hits one that is fighting Zork, One hits Zork solid for 7 damage.
