The Chainbreaker says... Drugan slides over next to Zork and casts a Cure Light Wounds on his ally. He quips, "You're looking a bit banged up there. Keep at it and they'll fall eventually!"
Out of Character: In Advanced D&D there's no level bonus to spells, right? Nor attacks of opportunity? If there are attacks, Durgan will still risk taking them in order to move to Zork.

The Swift Sword says...Zork knows his sill is not that good and that the sword seems to be doing the extra work. He keeps fighting while only nodding approval at his wounds being healed.

Out of Character: Yes you are correct there are no attacks of opportunity in AD&D
In Character: Zork hits one of the guys for 8 damage the two of them attack Zork with one hitting him for 5 damage. Durgan moves closer to Zork and heals him for 7 points of healing. The guard on Durgan misses. Lady Mithalindre hits another one with magic.
Next round Zork misses the guards but one of them hits Zork for 1 damage. Durgan and the guard on him both miss each other. The lady Mithalindre hits another with magic killing one that was attacking Zork.
Next round Zork hits the last guard on him for 5 damage Durgan and the guard on him both hit each for 6 points damage. The lady Mithalindre hits the one on Durgan with magic
Next round Zork is hit for 6 damage as he misses his guard. Durgan is missed and he missed the guard how ever the Lady hits the guard on Durgan with magic killing him.
One guard is left. You also hear some moaning coming from the where the big guy had toppled over onto his chair.

The Chainbreaker says... Durgan maneuvers around to get a view of the man on the chair. He continues to fight the guards.
Out of Character: Tried to fix my mistake, and screwed up again by changing the start number. Typical.

Next attack Zork misses again but Durgan hits for 3 damage the guard misses too.
Next attack Zork hits for 8 damage and Durgan hits for 3 damage the guard misses again.
Next attack the guard misses as does Zork Durgan hits the guard for 6 damage.
