Yes it has the same risks if exposed to magical fire. Nothing to react to I was just preparing my self for more possible adventure if you ran into something or not. As for the light spell by using an opal the light lasts for 7 turns, or a little over one hour.
Zork and his faithful band of war dogs follows the couple with the usual arrangement where two of his dogs is up ahead on the flanks checking for anyone hiding as they go forward.
