You are able to climb up and verify that yes you are on the right path and going the right direction. The dense woods makes traveling a bit slower but you think you can still reach the ruins by the end of the second day. You both climb down and once again get ready to head west.

The Chainbreaker says... Durgan uses up one opal to cast light, and Sessativa says, "Oh, well that is useful. Good thing I prepared different spells for today."
She pauses, in thought.
"I could read under that light, I wonder how long it lasts?" Less than a minute passes when the light is extinguished. "Perhaps you should save up those gems for later?"
Durgan replies, "I'll consider that when I'm not wearing potential explosives on my head.
Out of Character: It's a great feature, I just hope I can keep track.
KNtoran, I just wanted to confirm that the helmet has the same risks you mentioned before if exposed to magical fire. Second, I'm not sure what you're expecting us to react to in the last post.

Yes it has the same risks if exposed to magical fire. Nothing to react to I was just preparing my self for more possible adventure if you ran into something or not. As for the light spell by using an opal the light lasts for 7 turns, or a little over one hour.

The Chainbreaker says... Out of Character: Oh, that's far longer than I thought. I must have missed that rule.
In Character: Sessativa uses the light to read up on her spells and take a few notes, in bumpy handwriting. She still suggests saving the opals for later when it's totally dark.

You all continue to the west through the thick forest. The only thing you see for the rest of the day are normal birds and woodland creatures. Nothing is around that you see that could present a issue to you.
