The Chainbreaker says... Surveying the carnage Durgan replies, "I don't know, they're everywhere."
Sessativa pipes up, "If they're anything like the smaller kind, they can survive for a long time without food and also reproduce in great numbers. Perhaps they are different though, because they can cannibalise."
Durgan is a bit taken aback, before suggesting, "Perhaps we should go back to checking those books." He and Sessativa try to clean off the mould to glean any information from them.

The Swift Sword says... Zork surveys the damage and begins tending to the wounds of his dogs while praising their efforts. He turns to companions, "Can you heal any of these?"
If there are dogs still weak he will send them up with the other two to rest.

The poison caused additional damage when a saving throw failed. A successful saving throw means they resisted the effect of the poison so no additional damage. In the last two rounds one dog saved so no additional damage the other dog did not save so six additional damage. These spiders where a bit bigger than ones outside.
As you open the books you see they are pretty much ruined and falling apart with the mold and mildew eating most of the way through them. You can not tell if these were just books to read or some other type of books. Everyone needs to roll a d6 and a d12.

The Chainbreaker says... "Nothing… nothing… " Durgan grits his teeth in frustration. Sessativa seems to deal with it by tossing the books away, harder with each throw.

Out of Character: Wow I cannot say really the dogs are taking quite a licking. Maybe the Dungeon Master can reveal it.

Out of Character: I have not kept track of the Dogs damage. You may have to double check them. You do have their HP and AC written down correct? AC should be 6 Hit Dice is 3 d8
In Character: : I will need rolls for Sessativa before I add what happens next.

The Chainbreaker says...Out of Character: So that was all the healing I rolled for the dogs? Do they need any more? Removing 6 charges in one of the two healing wands, both of which have unknown charges remaining.
