The Swift Sword says... Out of Character: I'm not clear on which dog is bit in round 3 but rolled for him. Also included extra savings for future hits if any. Flip I've also been rolling without my long sword bonus. 
In Character: Zork attacks the spider with fury.

The Chainbreaker says...Slowly whittling away at the number of spiders, Durgan and Sessativa continue their melee attacks rather than using up limited resources.

Out of Character: it was dog the that was bit and he failed his saving throw so an additional 4 points of damage.
In Character: The fighting continues the two dogs in the north room attack the lone spider left. Both bite it dealing it 13 points of damage killing it. There is no more alive spiders in the north room.
In the south the two dogs A and B attack the spider that is left. Both miss. The spider attacks dog B missing him. Zork misses the spider too. Durgan and Sessativa have no target since the spider is now dead. IF they turn around and head south it will take them three melee rounds to get to the south room.
Next round. The two dogs in the north continue to look around to make sure no other targets in the north. The two dogs in the south attack the spider both missing again the spider misses too. Zork misses too.
Next round the two dogs in the south attack and bite the spider in the south room causing 10 damage to the spider. The spider misses them. Zork misses the spider. IF Durgan and Sessativa moved to the south they can attack now. I will need new combat rolls for them. Zork still has some combat rolls but need actions for dogs C and the and new combat rolls for dogs A and B.

The Chainbreaker says... Out of Character: Kntory, sorry if I didn't make it clear, but my characters split up and Sessativa was supposed to be in the south. But, whatever.
In Character: Whoever has no targets heads south to fight.

The Swift Sword says...Out of Character: Yes I know it was the dog that was bit but which dog: A,B,C, or D? You did not put a letter on the one that was bit you just said a dog was bit.

Out of Character: Dang it I thought I said the my bad Sometimes I get ahead of my typing. *smile* Also even with Sessativa in the south I missed that she missed on her attacks anyway so not change in the outcome.
In Character: Between the attacks of Dog A hitting for 6 damage and Sessativa hitting for 4 damage the last spider is put to rest. You have four dead spiders in each the North and the south room.

Zork checks on his dogs and does searches. Zork says allowed, "A couple of my dogs are hit badly but they can live." He puts some cloth on their wounds.
