Zork looks at Durgan for a reaction. At this point he knows it won't be his place to 'do' anything involving his woman so he simply asks, "Are you going to do anything?"
"I guess we can wait and see what happens," Durgan says. "Strange how the book accepted her opening it, but not me. I assume the charge has dissipated now or something."
Durgan takes a seat by the table and watches for a minute, before asking, "Sessativa, are you alright?"
He keeps watching for 10 minutes. Is she turning the pages or is anything changing?

Zork watches on making sure not to touch anything in the room and definitely not to suggest anything more about what Durgan should do and then end up blamed for it.
She does not respond and she does not turn the pages they turn themselves with the glow from the book you can not make out any writing on the pages. She does not move. She is like this for two hours barely breathing. Do you wait her out or try moving her?
Zork comments, "She is absorbing information from the book… "
Zork then looks at the book to see how many pages are left so he can figure out how long she will be like that.
Barely breathing is better than not breathing. Durgan's thought turns to whether or not she's getting hungry or thirsty. When such basic survival needs aren't being met, he gets concerned. He's also somewhat afraid to move her, in case he or she gets another shock.
Looking at the book you can see pages are turning but the thickness of the pages to be read and those already read stay the same it is like the book is opened to the half way point with no pages adding or subtracting for either side.
The day is long and the sun is going down. She is still deep into the book. The glow around her has changed to a bright green now.
Zork looks at Durgan. He puts a hand on his shoulder and says, "We need to do something bud, but that's your decision. Maybe there is something in the room that can tell us what is happening?"
