The Swift Sword says...Zork says allowed, "Come here boy". He calls his dog over to the far side of the room. He sits and waits while stroking him. He says to the dog, "Let's leave these two alone to decide what they're going to do."

The Chainbreaker says... "We will be here a while, sorry," Sessativa apologises as she begins reading from her spellbook to prepare the levitation spell.
Durgan feels his way around the room, stopping to lean on a wall, and as more time passes, dropping to a seated position.
With spell prepared, Sessativa asks Zork for help as she ties a rope around her waist. "Zork, since Durgan can't see, I'll need you to hold on to the end in case I accidentally float away from the tower. I think the roof has collapsed onto the trapdoor, and I'll shout down what I see and whether or not you still need to hold on."
She tentatively steps up onto the windowsill and casts Levitate to go upwards, grabbing whatever she can on the wall to move horizontally.

Sessativa steps out of the window after casting levitation on herself. She floats up while Zork holds onto the rope. As she clear the roof she can see a chest that is sitting halfway on the trap door but what really catches her eye is a rather large spider heading her way.

The Swift Sword says...When Zork hears what she relays he shouts out, "Come back down and let it follow you in here so we can get it!"

The Chainbreaker says... Sessativa's eyes go wide open and she wills herself to float down back to the window. "Giant spider! Pull me in! I hope it can't fit behind me!" She moves to stand behind Zork, drawing her quarterstaff.
Durgan feels his way towards the south door, closing and leaning on it. "Come to me if you get injured," he instructs.
Durgan Results:
- Quarterstaff attacks on D20 (+0): 2, 14, 12, 12, 2, 18 (6 rolls)
- Quarterstaff damage on D6 (+0): 3 (1 rolls)
- Cure light wounds on D8 (+0): 4, 6, 8 (3 rolls, as D2-8)
