The Chainbreaker says... "We should split the coin between us two, considering Sessativa will want the books," Durgan says.
"Unless they are books you will be interested in." Sessativa adds. "I will figure out what all the magical effects are tomorrow."
She tries to determine what they are by their title. If it's not obvious without opening the book, she casts her Identify ritual on one of the books, using up another valuable pearl.

Sessativa can see that all three books are tomes that a magic user used to keep all his spells in. She can understand a few but a majority of them are too complex for her to understand at the time. She knows they are powerful spells.

The Chainbreaker says... "These are great!" Sessativa takes up the books as Durgan takes the other half of the coins. They head down a level to the unopened door.
Out of Character: I think it's level 2, the map that isn't currently displayed.

Out of Character: The other unopened door is on the main level. Look at map number 4 to show you the main level. You are coming down the stairs with a door at the bottom.
In Character: You head back down to the main level where you are once again at the door that had the crossbar across it. The room is still empty. Once you go out in the hallway you can still the blackened walls and the door at the end of the hallway. In the room across from the room you were in is a set of stairs. So you have a choice the other door of the stairs.

The Swift Sword says...Zork looks at Durgan and says, "You say the way and I'll take it." In the meanwhile Zork asks his dog to sniff at the door to see if anything living is behind it.

Sessativa, standing behind Zork, tells him where to go: down, down, across the corridor and up the stairs.
