The dog runs ahead of you into the library where you hear it growl and see it lunge at a figure. I will need attack and damage rolls for the dog and Zork.
Durgan finds a person laying with blood seeping out of many wounds. Your cure light wounds helps her and she slowly opens her eyes. Seeing you she says "Sorry m'lord there were too many. I failed you."

The Chainbreaker says... "Shh, Shh, rest now child," Durgan replies. "It is me who failed you." He stands up straight and with an angry visage strides into the Dining Room or Parlor (Whichever is closer), knowing that Sessativa is heading into the kitchen.
He casts Hold Person on the first enemy and restates his terms, "Stop this nonsense at once!" If they don't, he wades in with his mace.
She heads into the kitchen, invisibly walks up behind an lightly armored enemy and stabs him in the back. As she fades into view she asks, "Who wants to be next?" and begins the incantation to turn invisible again. When she's invisible, she uses her disembodied voice to intimidate and strike fear into these mens' hearts.
Out of Character: As an Elf, Sessativa gets +1 to hit with bows and swords, but is that also proficiency? She started out with a dagger and quarterstaff and I assume her chosen weapon proficiency is in the quarterstaff. I did not include a penalty - only the weapon's properties.
Durgan Results:

Out of Character: Any offensive action will cause invisibilty to fail. Pulling a dagger and stepping towards a person to stab them in the back is a offensive action. Yes a elf get a +1 on bow and swords but she is not proficient.
Zork attacks the one that the dog lunged at but missed. Zorks hits him solidly killing him. The next person is less lucky as the dog bites and tears his throat out. Zork sees another ruffian and hits him killing him. The library is clear.
Dugan as you go to step away she says, "No you do not understand Lady Estari sent me to speak to you. But I did not arrive in time to warn you."
Sessativa gets a +4 for attacking while she is not seen on a unsuspecting person but she gets -4 for not being proficient. Thus she missed with her attack. The person did not even notice her as they were intent on striking a male follower. They hit solidly caving the guys head in with a morning star. He heads over towards a female by the oven.

The Chainbreaker says... Durgan says, "You're okay now, you can tell me later. Just stay behind me if you can."
He casts Aid on himself and heads into the parlor and dining room, fighting people he doesn't recognise.
Sessativa says, "Your gripe is with me - not her!" and slashes at the man with her short sword.
Out of Character: I knew invisibility would fall, but did not expect to miss. I included the -4 this time. If her hit points fall below 4, she will cast her second invisibility.
I also did not realise that Bless doesn't add to damage rolls, not in any edition.

As Durgan heads into the dining room he will see a couple figures on top of women. They are not paying much attention and Durgan is able to bash one killing him saving the woman from further harm. The other guy sees this and jumps up to attack Durgan he swings and misses.
Zork and his dog head into the parlor where they attack and kill another ruffian killing him as they head towards another one that is searching through stuff. That person and another stop what they are doing to attack Zork and his dog.
Sessativa gets the guys attention and the woman takes off. The man approaches Sessativa and attacks her. He misses her and she misses him.
Durgan squares off with his ruffian and they both miss each other. Zork is attacked by his ruffian taking 4 damage. The dog is missed The dog bites his ruffian and kills him. Zork kills the ruffian that attacked him. They see the door to the cellar open and can hear more ruffians down there. Sessativa misses her ruffian again as he misses her in return.
Durgan swings again at his ruffian but misses but the ruffian hits him for 5 damage. Sessativa hits her ruffian for 5 damage hurting him pretty good.
Does Zork and his dog head down the stairs or head towards the dining room.
