Durgan walks all the way back to the intersection and then walks forward this time, not retracing his steps.
You head back to the intersection where you have the choice of going right back towards the smell or left away from the smell. Turning to the left you go 30 feet where you see a door on the left wall while the corridor heads straight. What s your next action.
The door opens as soon as you push on it by falling into the room landing on the floor with a nice thud and stirring up the dust that was in the room. The room is about 40 feet square and was well furnished but time has stripped a lot of the finery to not much more than dust and particles. You can see the glint of gold and other metals throughout the room. There are some chests and wardrobes along the far wall. Between them and you are some skeletons heading your way.
