You can see the door closes to appear as just a blank wall between two stock shelves You find a small indention that when pressed releases the latch and allows the hidden to be opened.
Heading back up the long corridor you soon come to the section where you have not explored. You follow that about 40 feet and you see a door on the right hand side the corridor continues straight.
You see no traps that you can discern and open the door. The door opens easily and you see a few zombies inside heading your way. The room looks to be about 50 feet deep and wide. You see no other doors except the door you opened.
Durgan falters in his voice as he raises his symbol to repel the zombies.
Turn undead: Nat 1
Attacks: 3, 2, 2, 17
Damage (1d8): 1, 6, 3, 5
Out of Character: Wow, I can't believe this terrible luck. Just double checking that you said the mace Durgan picked up was heavy for 1d8 damage. You mentioned something on page 50.
Yes, Durgan is using the new mace.
If he gets injured by 5 or more damage, he will heal himself for 1d8 = 5.
He continues his assault, standing behind the doorway to avoid fighting too many zombies at once.
Attack: 19, 10, Nat1, 7, 18, 14
Damage(1d8): 7, 5, 6, 2, 8, 5
As you swing the mace at the zombies it feel good in your hands and you think that this is what it was meant for. The Zombies come closer to attack and no one hits for the first two rounds. He third round a zombie gets a glancing blow on you for a total of 1 point damage. You hit that zombie back causing it to fall to the floor unmoving. You get missed the fifth round but do a good amount of damage to a zombie causing it to slump to the floor. Everyone misses the next round. You then fumble your mace but you do not drop it just left yourself open for an attack but the zombies missed you. You attack again causing another Zombie to fall and lay still.
You are still attacking?
Durgan continues to attack, pleased that he is gaining an advantage.
