Sessativa uses the only thing she can, Detect Secret Doors, you never know what advantage it may bring.
Your spell does not seem to phase the creature and keeps on coming at you. You hit with your mace doing damage to it. Sessativa hits it too with her quarterstaff doing damage. It bellows in pain.
Out of Character: I rolled a die odd or even to see who it attacks first a odd roll Durgan even Sessativa. I rolled a 4
The creature hits Sessativa for 4 points of damage.
Next round you hit again causing it more damage Sessative hits it too. It strikes Sessativa again knocking her down and across th room a it. She is out of the fight and at -4 hit points.
Next round Durgan misses and the creature missed.
Round four Durgan hits it good and the creature falls backward to the ground unmoving. What is your next move.
Durgan breathes out a "No." He rushes over to Sessativa and attempts to cast his Cure light wounds.

He then goes to the creature and releases his anger by bludgeoning the creature many, many times and shouting.
