Durgan decides to head towards the town. No time to be wasted at all. He hopes he can reach the next hut by nightfall and if he doesn't he will continue his march until he does reach the hut. Then he follows the same procedure.

Durgan: After another day of travel you arrive with Sessativa to the next hut about a hour after dark. After the healing spells she wakes up enough to eat and drink some. She is at 1 HP. She will be able to travel in the morning with a couple days left to reach
Zork: The clerk smiles at you and asks you to have a seat and she will see what she has available, she opens a drawer and starts to look through some papers.
"You've been out for three days," Durgan informs her. He hugs her tightly, "It's good to have you back. Rest for now. You'll be able to walk in the morning."
Durgan decides not to share the load, taking it all on himself to let Sessativa recover better. He lets her lead the way to set the pace and for him to watch her.
They will rest in the next hut, Durgan continuing to heal her, and set off the day after in the same marching order.
Durgan: You will have one more rest before you reach the town. By the time you both get back into the town you both are at full health.
Zork: The clerk waves you back over. She tells you that currently the only job she sees right now is to investigate a ruin of a long lost temple in the woods south and east of here. She will tell you a group headed out that way a couple weeks ago but has not been heard from since then. Maybe you can take a look and see if any made it past the hi-way men on the roads to the east of here. You should see if you can find any others to accompany you as the way is perilous.
Zork thanks her for the opportunity but before setting out he asks what the pay for this task will be. Afterwards he checks the local tavern to see if there are others like him in search of adventure or simply work.
Durgan believes the best place to go is the temple which offered him the quest. He heads there to speak to the priest he spoke to before.
He approaches informally, with two thumbs up and a wide grin on his face. "It's done! The temple is cleared of most of the evil within. There were many zombies and it looks like something came in and rapidly killed everything, without disturbing anything else. And there was this." He displays the holy symbol he found and the items he picked up.
"I don't recognise the symbol. Do you have any senior clerics that would know? Would they be willing to accompany back in a return to the temple? There are still things there to discover. And most importantly the area must be consecrated.
"And these items, I believe them to be magical. This mace and these; sceptre, rod and bow. Can your temple identify them or must I go elsewhere?"
Durgan: The priest will take the items and tell you to come back tomorrow and we will have everything identified and a couple priests to head back with you with some horses and pack mules if there are any toes that may still be useful.
Zork: You head to one of the taverns to relax and to see if any other adventures happen to be there.
