There is no toll and you are able to make it to the temple with no issues. From there you will be able to split the goods as you see fit. Just post how you split the goods. Everyone will receive 1,200 experience from the gold and the highway men.
Durgan offers the priests all of the tomes free of charge and, as an additional donation, one tenth of the coins. He humbly asks to borrow the mules for the rest of the day.
Zork receives an equal one tenth in coins. Durgan takes the remainder of the coins and all the gold items.
Zork heads off to the stables and armoury to have a browse of what's available and buy things.
Durgan leads the animals back to the inn where Sessativa was staying, intending to surprise her with a bag full of gold and get her help hauling it all back up to their room as quickly as possible. He strongly believes they are being watched.
"Really?" Durgan asks incredulously. "I'm offering you all the tomes, which you were willing to pay a lot of money for, and there was very low risk. Would the priests have earned that much if they had not journeyed with me? 15% and no more complaints, you can have all the gold crosses too."

Zork visits the local stables. He wants a well trained war horse fitted with armor and cable of adhering to commands like stay and move and hand signals so if he has to leave him unattended he does not have to be afraid that he will wander off. He tries to haggle a good price.
