The Chainbreaker says... Durgan closes the chest and attempts to pack the whole thing into his backpack. Failing that, he tries strapping it to the bottom or top or emptying the contents and leaving the box behind, taking care to record how many necklaces, gems and rings there are.
Then he finally heads east to continue his journey, with Shivas in tow.

The chest is too big for you to strap to your back but you can carry it between the two of you. Or you can continue as you said and pass everything to your back pack and head on out.
Your list: 3 necklaces: 1 with clear gems and two with red gems, five rings: two with golden bands and a blue gem, two with a golden band and a clear gem and one that is silver with no stone, twelve gems of small size: three are blue, four are red, two are green, and three that are clear.

You both head east along the road. The day is bright and a few clouds are in the sky. It looks to be a nice day for a walk. As the sun begins to set you can see off in the distance a hut alongside the road. It looks like you will not be able to arrive there until after dark. Do you continue or make camp?
