Sessativa looks in awe and inspects the carvings on the columns, trying to glean any information from them.
As Coron and Durgan make to open the doors, Sessativa prepares for a fight in case there is anything lurking behind the massive entrance.
If the men are unable to open the doors, she will move in to assist.
Durgan becomes excited and says, "Oh, wow! Now one thing to remember, we're here for tomes to return to the city. Everything else is optional."
He heedlessly walks to the left side door and pushes it open. "Now where would I put a library?" He mutters.
Sessativa's mouth drops open in awe. "Should we close the door behind us so that nothin...." Sessativa cuts her sentence short when she notices Durgan opening the door on the left, her heart drops in fear. "Wait! It could be trapped." Sessativa had heard of traps in old ruins and the like from the stories her Uncle Tress used to tell her. Fearful for Durgan she runs to catch up to him to see if he is alright.

Coron hears something coming around the corner and grips his sword tightly.
"There is something coming! If there is more than one, then let them funnel through this door so we can fight them one at a time!"
Coron waits and watches to see what, and how many, is coming their way.
Sessativa hears the noise and decides Durgan is safe for the moment. Running back to the main doors she closes them, not wanting to become surrounded by the monsters. She runs back to stand behind Durgan, and Coron, readying her staff for a fight.

"Well, lucky that time," Durgan replies. "I'll be more careful, thanks. Might as well watch the floor as well for trapped tiles and tripwires."
Seeing Sessativa push the door and the room's light drop, He shouts "Hold on". He drops his shield and pulls out his torch and tinderbox as the room goes black. All that can be seen is sparking as he frantically lights the torch.
Once lit, he pulls out his holy symbol to face the approaching sound.
Coron hears the shuffling getting closer and closer as Durgan continues to try and light the torch. When he feels the creature is in the doorway, he yells to Durgan.
"Durgan, get back!"
Coron then thrusts his sword blindly into the doorway, hoping to hit whatever is approaching.

My attack and damage bonuses are included in my rolls. I'm assuming that there is a penalty for not being able to see, but I don't know what it is.

Sessativa gasps at her lack of thought. "Oops!" She tries to feel her way around in her pack and frantically tries to light a torch so she can make her way over to help the others.
