Durgan, having been riding, at least had some energy left and he has his mace out as he knocks and pushes the door. He hopes nothing is inside.
"I promise we will travel at a normal pace tomorrow. Three days worth of travel, in two days is not bad. I have the energy for first watch, Zork do you want to go second tonight?"
Out of Character: I think we might need a d6 or d12 to stay awake. Just in case:
D6: 2
D12: 10
"We want to head north along road," Durgan mentions. "Be on guard, last time there were spiders and undead here. I would suggest having your weapon ready."
Durgan dismounts and leads his horse up the overgrown path, with mace ready in the other hand.
Zork is shocked by the casualty of Durgan's words. He repeats it in his mind... Spider and undead? He hopes his face isn't showing his fear but he does feel it and draws his weapon with a tight grip.
There's a very short description on page 25 and start of 26 of what it looks like: Source 6.
"Indeed," Durgan replies, "But Sessativa and I cleared most of it out. However you can never know with undead, they came back once, why not again?"
He turns to the clerics, "Can you sense the evil inside? What are you waiting for, let's go eradicate it for good! Heh, that pun wasn't intended."
He ties his horse to a nearby tree, readies his mace and pushes on the front door, getting the others to come help.
Hearing the word "Undead" Again creeps Zork, but he says nothing about it. The temple itself looks bizarre with its overly large doors and columns he wonders if it housed giants at one point. Zork follow the party.
Seeing the inside of the temple keeps Zork occupied enough to await his leader's next course of action.
