Durgan sighs in relief to see that nobody has been in to disturb the spoils from the temple. "Here lie the treasures of most of the temple," He announces to the others. "We have the option to finish exploring the temple and consecrate it in the name of good. And we also have to take all this loot out.
"We could take the loot out first, packing our animals in case we need a quick escape. But if something startles the animals we may lose our loot.
"Or we could explore first, but we must make sure that the treasures aren't touched and whatever we face, we cannot run from or we will lose the loot already collected. And we could face anything, undead aren't much of an issue with 3 clerics, but last time I was here I ran into an ogre..."
Rubbing his chin Zork's first response is on the treasure. "Let's take it! We need to secure the animals well so they do not run off, possibly by tying them together so they cannot get far."
After getting a whiff of the smell emanating from the temple he wants to say... "Let's leave with the gold already..." But he holds his breath and says nothing.
"That's why I brought these," Dugan pulls out the incense sticks and waterskins. "Put an unlit stick inside the bag and use the bag to breathe in and out. It won't mix with the miasma and we should be able to get through without having to smell any more of it."
After leaving the room Zork suggests, "We should burn the room or gather some maggots and leave there so they can do their natural work, strange they have not found it before."
Zork watches the elf carefully with some level of mistrust. Maybe this is the guardian of the treasure and he will want it all back he thinks. He goes closer but not as close as the others.
