Zork is happy about what he will soon earn but remembers the clerk of the town, "We are supposed to take some of this to the town clerk?"
"Are we?" Durgan asks. "I don't think I know any clerk. This temple of Oghma gave me the task to recover the tomes and offered me payment for them as well as any treasure left behind. However, I'm feeling generous today."
"Since Sessativa and I took the greatest risk, we deserve a majority share. But there are all these golden items. I want only a few of them and we should try to sell the rest. Do you want any cups or plates, Zork?"
"The temple can have all the tomes as a donation and some portion of the treasure. Maybe one tenth. Zork, would you be happy with one tenth of the spoils as well?"
Zork considers his work and knows he must be grateful for what he gets considering he did nothing but accompany the original party. "No plates or cups, but yes, a tenth is good and I am grateful for this."
Out of Character: As soon as is possible I will like to visit the stables and armory to buy stuff with the gold.
"Are you sure you want no gold items? I can split the profits from selling them. Well, if you want, we can meet up back at the inn I'm staying at."
"I want just gold to buy things, not to barter or try to sell. I need a horse, some proper armor and things like that. I will be grateful for any amount you are willing to split with me. What is the name of the inn, sure, I can meet you there?"
One tenth of the coins totals to be 30 platinum, 1350 gold, 416 silver and 728 copper coins. Kntoran posted the currency conversions once before I think. It's not as simple as 3.5 edition or Pathfinder which has it in multiples of 10.
"The inn is where we went to before we left. The name escapes me at the moment but I'm sure you can find it."
In Character: "Good, should we buy our things before meeting or after we know our next task?"
Out of Character: Thanks for the break down.
"That's what I will be doing. Though I think questing is a bad idea. We have to report those highwaymen we defeated and there is the issue of the note. Who wrote it? Is this city corrupt?"
