"I'm not sure how much they've found out, but we could always go offer our help. It will speed up the process. Let's go and see Lady Estari to see what she knows."
Durgan leads the way to the center of town where the stronghold is. He gives up his weapons and enters, leading them to Lady Estari.
Zork tags along looking at the people as they past by and his new horse. He pats the horse, he's still very happy about what she can do.
Durgan asks, "Are we up to the challenge? An unknown number of highwaymen to the south. Hopefully we can find the details the guards need, maybe even bring one bandit in alive."
Emily walks up to the proud man sitting on his horse.
What a majestic stead you have their young master. A young man with such an expensive creature must possess great skills. From your attire I see that you are neither farmer nor merchant. May I suppose that you are an adventurer on the path of greatness? I have been told others such as yourself stay at the Inn. Could I trouble you with a simple gesture of chivalry and escort me to the Inn. I hope to find opportunity there, yet I have lost myself in this town. I wish not to be in the wrong place when the sun sets.
Forgive my manners, my name is Emily. What may I call you young master?
As Durgan walks away from the lady, Morg'Thal give him a sign that he agrees with the course of action.
He then turns towards Zork and his new companion and says "My lady, I would be careful with this one, he lives in his dreams, but his dream seems to have been of you!" Then chuckles a little bit.
Emily turns to the young witty man and offers her own wit in return "I have crossed the minds of many men, but none before I crossed their eyes". She pulls the hood of her clock down and locks her deep blue eyes on the new fellow and offers just a hint of a smile. "Perhaps I will cross yours tonight."
Emily returns her gaze to the young horseman. "Forgive me; I was not aware you were accompanied. Perhaps fate has brought me to whom I seek and the Inn may prove unneeded".
She looks back and forth at the two strangers. "I have offered my name, but I have two strong men in front of me who remain nameless. Is the witty man your voice? Should I speak with him or do you have a tongue young horseman?"
Out of Character: this is a a bit confusing. Emily has no description, so is it a female your role-playing?
Then MorgThal talks to Zork but he is outside and not in the building with Durgan or MorgThal.
Out of Character: OK now everything is understandable again. Emily is included with us back at Durgan's mansion.
In Character: Zork seeks to reassure Emily that her approach was welcomed. He guides her to Durgan's home and introduces her properly to the others after learning about her background and abilities.
