She pulls the hood of her clock down and locks her deep blue eyes on the new fellow and offers just a hint of a smile. "Perhaps I will cross yours tonight."

Emily returns her gaze to the young horseman. "Forgive me; I was not aware you were accompanied. Perhaps fate has brought me to whom I seek and the Inn may prove unneeded".
