Zork looks at Emily wondering if she is not too sure about her purpose for her actions.
"No, let's talk about you and what you are about."
Zork takes a slug of his drink, shakes his head and breathes a sigh. He slumps his hands on the table,
"Alright, let's play your little game, what's the true intentions of your purpose and expectations for joining this little group?"
My intentions are pure. I want to help when I can and get stronger in my craft. I saw you and then your group, and I saw a strong group that could help me. I'm still new in my skills and I need strong support. I will be here to learn and support as I can.
My turn. What drives your need for adventure?
"I go by what my teacher said, "For no one - no one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts. This you can trust..."" He holds up his broadsword while touching its sharpened edge.
"So, what were your intentions over there, to help?"
No, that was for me. I keep my options open. I am not sure how I fit in your group yet. That lady is very powerful. She know knows me by sight. I don't fit in your plans at the moment. I hope I can find my place. If not there may be errands I can do for her.
Now my turn. Do I have a place in this group?
"Of course you do, but you should explain yourself before you go trying to talk with strangers at a table. This will give me some forewarning to go back to my room at the Inn so I don't end up hurting the town's folk."
Zork takes a few gulps and makes a long "Ahhh..." Then continues with Emily, "So what's your plan for the night, you have a place at Durgan's?"
I don't yet. I hope to find the inn keeper and inquire about one. I'm glad I have a place. I will try to keep my business from causing you grief Zork.
