Durgan gestures back pointing at the four tents and showing a thumbs up. Then he shakes his other hand. Hopefully those up ahead understand what he's trying to convey.
Zork nods and then moves back slowly and whispers, "So how do we handle this? Maybe I can ride around and come to the front while the rest of you come from behind?"
"My only concern is if they're legitimate merchants," Durgan admits as Zork approaches. "Gell is right, we lose nothing by waiting until they start eating. The last thing we should do is split up."
Out of Character: In light of the extra information I am pretty confident these aren't actually the bandits...
In Character: "I think there is no risk here." Durgan says. "If you will accompany me, we should approach and hail them. Or if you prefer we could wait."
In Character: "Zork looks at Durgan with a surprised face, "How did you come to that conclusion? To be sure I will casually ride down. If its not quite right then I can take off on my horse."
"Well, this hill does not provide the view to the south that the bandit mentioned. Also, the camp isn't even on the peak."
"Good idea with the horse. I'm glad you put some faith in me. Gell, if you want to observe first, you can stay and hide if you wish."
